JST-PH 2-Pin Battery Connector (2.0mm Pitch)
2.0mm pitch, 2-position wire-to-board connector, the de-facto standard for single-cell LiPo/Li-Ion battery packs on hobbyist electronics and charge modules such as the TP4056.
LM3914 Dot/Bar Display Driver
Monolithic IC that senses analog voltage levels and drives 10 LEDs in a linear dot or bar graph display. Internal voltage reference and precision voltage divider included.
MAX98357A I2S Class-D Mono Amplifier
3W Class-D mono audio amplifier with a digital I2S/PDM input and integrated DAC, requiring no analog audio input, commonly paired with the ESP32/Raspberry Pi for I2S speaker output.
Micro HDMI (Type D) 19-Pin Interface
Miniaturized 19-pin HDMI connector (Type D) with the same electrical signal assignment as HDMI Type-A, used on cameras, tablets, and single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi Zero and Pi 4.
Micro-USB 3.0 Type-B (10-Pin)
10-pin SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Micro-B connector combining a standard 5-pin USB 2.0 section with an additional 5-pin SuperSpeed section, commonly found on portable external hard drives.
Mini DisplayPort (mDP) 20-Pin Interface
Miniaturized 20-pin DisplayPort connector introduced by Apple and later standardized by VESA, electrically identical to full-size DisplayPort and reused as the physical connector for Thunderbolt 1 and 2.
Mini-USB Type-B 5-Pin Interface
Compact 5-pin USB 2.0 connector commonly found on older digital cameras, GPS devices, MP3 players, and game controllers. Succeeded by Micro-USB.
PCF8563 Real-Time Clock/Calendar
Low-power CMOS Real-Time Clock/Calendar with I2C interface, programmable clock output, alarm and timer functions, backed by a 32.768kHz crystal oscillator.
PCF8575 16-Bit I2C I/O Expander
Remote 16-bit I2C-bus general purpose parallel input/output expander with interrupt output, offering quasi-bidirectional I/O across two 8-bit ports (P0, P1), the 16-bit sibling of the PCF8574.
PCIe 6-Pin GPU Power Connector
6-pin auxiliary power connector defined by the PCI Express Power Supply Specification, supplying up to 75W (3x +12V, 3x GND) to graphics cards in addition to the PCIe slot's own 75W.
PS/2 (Mini-DIN 6) Keyboard/Mouse Connector
6-pin Mini-DIN connector introduced with the IBM PS/2 for keyboard and mouse interfaces. Uses synchronous serial protocol with clock and data lines. Purple = keyboard, green = mouse.
Parallel Port (DB-25 / LPT Interface)
Standard 25-pin D-Sub parallel interface for printers and peripherals. Pin 1 is Strobe, pins 2–9 are bidirectional 8-bit data lines (SPP/EPP/ECP modes), pins 10–13 and 15 are status inputs, pins 14/16/17 are control outputs, and pins 18–25 are signal ground.
RCA (Phono) Composite Connector
Single-conductor friction-fit coaxial connector, colour-coded yellow for composite video or red/white for stereo analog audio, ubiquitous on consumer AV equipment.
RJ11 6P4C Modular Connector (Telephone)
6-position 4-contact modular connector used for analog telephone lines, DSL connections, and fax machines. Smaller than RJ45 with 6mm width.
SHT31-D Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor
High-accuracy, fully calibrated digital I2C temperature and humidity sensor with two selectable addresses and an ALERT pin for humidity/temperature threshold monitoring.
Frequently Asked Questions & Transparency
Helpful information about data sources, usage, and privacy
Where does the pinout data and technical specification come from?
The pinout data and technical specifications are based on official manufacturer datasheets as well as publicly available documentation and community resources. As PinoutDatabase is an independent project maintained by me as an individual, I strive for high accuracy, though inadvertent mistakes can still happen.
Can I use the graphics and how are they created?
The SVG vector files and PNG graphics are free to download and use for private/personal purposes. Depending on the component, the diagrams are either crafted manually or generated automatically based on package footprint and pin definitions.
Found an error or missing a component? How can I give feedback?
Community feedback is always appreciated! If you spot an error or are missing a specific component, please use the 'Report Issue' button directly on that component's page or send me a message via the contact form.
Is the site free to use and how is privacy handled?
Currently, using PinoutDatabase is completely free and requires no registration. All interactive web tools run entirely client-side inside your browser. Detailed information regarding data processing can be found directly on our Privacy Policy page.
