About PinoutDB
The interactive & blazing fast pinout platform for engineers and makers.
Clean Pinouts
Every engineer, hardware developer, and maker knows the struggle: you're prototyping with a microcontroller (ESP32, RP2040, STM32) or logic IC (74HC595, NE555) and have to dig through 60-page PDF datasheets or rely on blurry pinout images online.
What PinoutDB provides
At its core, the diagrams are interactive: hover over a row in the pin table and the matching pin lights up in the diagram, and the other way around. Pin types are color-coded (Power, Ground, Digital, Analog), or you can switch to a realistic metal look if you prefer that. Every diagram can be exported as SVG or PNG, handy for your own documentation or breadboard builds. In addition, an integrated suite of practical developer and hardware web tools helps streamline everyday engineering workflows.
Community & Feedback
PinoutDB continuously grows with new, verified component definitions. Community feedback is vital: If you spot an inaccuracy or miss a specific pinout, simply use the "Report Issue" button on any component page or reach out directly via the contact form.
Other Projects
Alongside PinoutDB, I build and maintain a few other free projects. PureWiki.org is a minimalist flat-file wiki with no database, no Node.js, and no build tools, fully free and open source under the AGPLv3. And SimpleTasks.eu is for anyone who just wants to manage tasks without the extra clutter.
