How does this tool work?
Records audio signals from your microphone directly in the browser with professional level metering and multi-format export.
Select your microphone and begin recording. The live visualizer displays frequency spectrum and input levels in dBFS. Pause and resume your session at any time. When stopped, review the recording on the waveform player and export as uncompressed WAV, MP3, or WebM.
Where are my data processed?
100% Client-Side: Your data never leaves your browser.
All calculations, conversions, encodings, and file processing of this tool are executed exclusively locally via JavaScript on your client device. No inputs, passwords, cryptographic keys, texts, or uploaded files are ever sent to our servers or third parties. Once the page is loaded, the tool remains completely functional even offline.
