How does this tool work?
An interactive text-grid editor for creating ASCII art diagrams.
The tool manages a customizable grid of monospace cells. A JavaScript drawing engine manipulates a 2D character array upon mouse actions (e.g. line connections or box creation using '+', '-' and '|' characters). The finished diagram can be exported directly as raw text.

All calculations, conversions, encodings, and file processing of this tool are executed exclusively locally via JavaScript on your client device. No inputs, passwords, cryptographic keys, texts, or uploaded files are ever sent to our servers or third parties. Once the page is loaded, the tool remains completely functional even offline.
